Launched as of April 1, 2008, here is the new look for a old friend. The original www.vherbert.com site debuted in September of 1999. Nine years and many new friends later, we move into a brave new world of increased community, a soon-to-launch digital download store, and available consulting, stage direction and performance packaging offerings - all aimed at increasing the public performances of Victor Herbert.

Becoming a registered user will be free for the rest of 2008 and allows one access beyond reading to the Forum and once Shop VHSource has opened, to the store. Speaking of the Forum and the Chat features. I'd love to begin to interact with you all. If you look on the left hand side of the Home page, down below the Poll area, you'll see how many guests are on the site and also which registered members are logged in. If you see me on the site, let's try to chat. 1) I'd love to know that the Chat feature works, and 2) maybe I can answer your questions in real time.

If you wish to become a contributor, contact me with your credentials and proposal. Let's start to talk about operetta and where it is today.

The store will not go active until the products listing is well underway, legalities are in place, and payment controls working well. Hopefully by May 15, 2008. Having just spent two solid weeks working on product, I can tell you, the store will regularly changing for years to come. You'll know it's open because you'll suddenly be able to see it. Again, you will have to register as a user to see the store.  In the meantime . . . . .
